Grammar: Position of Advervials


Adverbs are a part of speech that describes a verb, another adverb or an adjective. 

For example: 

I never see my older sister, but occasionally I call my younger sister.

In the sentence the words never an occasionally are adverbs. 

Or: 
 I see her from time to time. We get together once in a blue moon.

In this sentence from time to time and once in a blue moon are also adverbs. 

Adverbs can be placed in different positions in the sentences. Let's take a look at the video: 


As you can see adverbials can go in front, mid or end position in the sentences.
